Miss V.
Miss V is actually a delivery only restaurants. Liron Brenner, the chef and owner of the VONG restaurant, opens a kicking, delicious, high-quality Asian cuisine and yes, also vegan! MISS V.
Personal delivery that reaches you with a variety of classic dishes from six cuisines in Asia from India in the south to Korea in the north, through China, Thailand, Vietnam and Japan.
All the dishes are translated in a virtuosic and creative way to be the closest vegan version to the original! For everyone who wants to give a little jump to Asia and enjoy healthy, green and delicious food. Not just for vegans!
Liron says that MISS V was born in a period of change and stagnation.
“During the Corona period, I started eating a little differently, suddenly the desire for milk and meat products decreased and I discovered that I don’t miss it, that I can do without it. I developed a desire and attraction to the world of veganism, I wanted to make friends with it and get to know it. I had a strong desire to get into the kitchen and create something new. I recognized that there is a lack of delicious vegan food. For the most part, the vegan dishes in restaurants are a side kick and not the main stage. Instead of chicken they offer tofu. There is almost no use of the diverse and wonderful selection that the world has to offer today. These are not “substitutes”, these are new technological developments or wonderful forms of processing for plant raw materials. I started researching interesting raw materials. Super foods, mushroom seeds, roots, plants, tofu products, spices and animals. An enormous, exciting and delicious wealth of foods opened before me. I wanted to create interesting and exciting combinations and ultimately create Asian dishes as close as possible to the original”
Meshek Barzilay
Mashek Barzilai restaurant was born in Moshav Yarkona near Hod Hasharon, in a farm founded by Ada and Eliezer Barzilai in the early 1930s. Later, in 2002, their granddaughter, Merav Barzilai, established the Barzilai farm restaurant in the heart of the field. Marev restored the field and made it organic, renovated the old hatchery building, and established the Mesk Barzilai restaurant in it. The vegetables were picked in the beds, moved to the kitchen and from there to the plate.
In 2013, the restaurant moved to its current location in the Neve Tzedek neighborhood in the heart of Tel Aviv, and in a short time became the leading restaurant for vegan cuisine in Israel. The restaurant operates in a beautifully preserved building, in one of the picturesque neighborhoods of Tel Aviv, and offers an elite vegan and healthy menu, one that attracts vegans and vegetarians, but also other diners, who simply want to enjoy a healthy, varied and tasty meal, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for people and the environment.
