After months of nailing and simmering in the pool of urban unrest, Herzl 16, a promising successor to R2M’s Rothschild 12, has opened its doors… The doors of Rothschild 12 have finally closed. In terms of atmosphere, the Herzl 16 maintains the old spirit of the Rothschild 12 – both in terms of sound, music, performance and design. The food is similar but with a Japanese twist.

Great bar just off the market. Nice and cool inside. Really good Guinness as well. We did not eat here, but the range looked good. Bar staff really nice and the music was magic. Really nice pub. If I lived in Tel Aviv it would be my local. Great stuff. This place is a legendary institution in Tel Aviv, open around the clock. Great service, fair prices and good food (plates could be a bit bigger). Overall great place for coffee or cold beer after shopping in the market or nice chill before/after clubbing or bar tour. A must.
