Admit it, pizza is your favorite food. It’s everyone’s. Like any world-class city, Tel Aviv has no lack of pizza spots ranging from delivery options to casual spots to those with a more refined atmosphere. We at the Tel Avivi are also pizza enthusiasts and decided to go out on a mission to discover the best pizza in Tel Aviv. Read on!
Jaffa Pizza Kitchen – Not Kosher
Jaffa Pizza Kitchen is relatively new, opening up only in the past year. Located in the heart of Jaffa near the new light rail station, Jaffa Pizza Kitchen is serving up Tel Aviv’s best pizza and we don’t mean that as hyperbole! Baked in a traditional wood fire oven, this place serves up traditional Neapolitan pizzas with fresh and high quality ingredients, not the industrial stuff that is common in most Tel Aviv pizzerias. For the true pizza enthusiast, Jaffa Pizza Kitchen is the spot for you!

Panama Pizza – Not Kosher
Panama Pizza is an old favorite of ours in the Old North neighborhood, just steps away from Park HaYarkon. They’ve got table service, bar service, and also offer delivery. Panama’s pizzas are thin crust and generously sized. Their toppings are top grade and they offer some interesting ones such as porcini mushrooms and fresh oregano.

HaPizza – Not Kosher
HaPizza is an old favorite of Tel Avivians, having been open on Bograshov Street for close to 12 years. Their soft doughy crust is well beloved throughout the city and the atmosphere is family friendly. While not kosher, they don’t serve meat so those interested in “kosher style” can enjoy as well. A unique touch of haPizza is their coal fire oven, one of only a few pizza places in Tel Aviv that make their pizza in this style.

Nonno Angelo’s – Kosher
There aren’t many places in the world where one can have an authentic Italian pizza that’s also Kosher, and Nonno Angelo’s is one of the best. Founded by Italian immigrants, Nonno Angelo’s is a well hidden gem in the kosher food scene of Tel Aviv. Serving up delicious and well sized pizzas, Nonno Angelo also serves pasta, Antipasti, Arancini, and other Italian specialities. The service is friendly and homey and they are indeed open every Motzei Shabbat!

Pizza Michaela – Kosher
Super Pizza is a newbie on the Tel Aviv pizza scene, offering up a new spin on the Tony Vespa style of “cut it and weigh” pizza that was popular in Tel Aviv some years ago. It’s a reboot that we are every excited out. Super Pizza uses fantastic veggies and meat and super high quality cheese to create a sublime product. While it’s more of a casual grab and go type of place they also provide delivery and deliver a pizza which tastes just as great as if you had it straight out of the oven. Super Pizza is open till real late too and offers special discounts after Midnight.

Pizza Michaela – Kosher
Pizza Michaela is also a “cut it and weigh” style pizza located in the heart of Tel Aviv’s downtown business and nightlife district. Michaela’s kosher pizzas are truly tasty which is the result of her being a master baker, also owning the adjoining bakery. A long standing veteran of the street, Michaela opened up the pizza joint in 2018 and it’s begun to have a cult following of loyal customers, just like us. Friendly service always and delicious pies, Pizza Michaela is a must see for any kosher pizza enthusiast in Tel Aviv.
