As experienced foodies in Tel Aviv, we love to try out the numerous new restaurants that open up in the city. This particular one, however, has created a lot of positive buzz and we just had to check out Tel Aviv’s newest restaurant for ourselves. Sun Young is an Asian fusion restaurant located in the new INK Hotel on Brenner Street in the Lev Hair neighborhood of Tel Aviv. When we entered the restaurant we were first blown away by the unique decor, reminiscent of a restaurant one would find in London or New York. The service is at the same level, providing a customer experience rarely seen in restaurants in Tel Aviv.Let’s speak about the real business here, however. THE FOOD. If you’re a fan of fish and seafood. Sun Young is going to be the place for you. Very different than a typical Tel Aviv restaurant, the dishes are meant to be shared and the menu features things rarely seen in the city. We sampled almost the entire menu, each dish being a true creation that you’ll want to order. We were particularly impressed by the Ahi Squares, Crab Angolotti, the Udon noodles, and the Osaka style lamb ribs. We highly recommend Sun Young for a fun evening with friends in Tel Aviv.
