Vitrina
The burger is amazing, but the fries… Oh My… that little zest of lemon is just everything. Fair enough, Tel Aviv, like everywhere else, has experienced the “gourmetisation” of the burger. What once was junk food is now a designer dish. Vitrina, or Vitrinush as Telavivis affectionately call the place, did not fall into the whole truffle and foie gras craze that has taken over burgers. What they did is taken the core recipe and elevated it. The homemade mayo is deliciously silky, the bun is a delicate airy brioche. The meat is not unnecessarily expensive wagyu, but a good old rumpsteak of the best quality, perfectly cooked and moist. We highly recommend Vitrina, it’s a real treat and not one of those overly obnoxious and expensive burger joints.
